Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Pilla application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Acknowledgement

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is between you and Anders Rognlien ("Developer") only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"). The Developer, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.

Scope of License

The Developer grants you a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. This license does not allow you to use the App on any device that you do not own or control, except that the App may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

Description of Service

Pilla is a medication reminder application designed to help you track and manage your medication schedule. The App provides:

• Medication scheduling and tracking
• Push notification reminders (Premium feature)
• Home screen and lock screen widgets (Premium feature)
• Statistics and compliance tracking (Premium feature)

Medical Disclaimer

Pilla is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. The App is designed solely as a reminder tool to help you remember to take your medications as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions regarding medication. Do not rely solely on Pilla for critical medication timing. If you have questions about your medications, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Subscriptions and Payments

Pilla offers premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Monthly: $0.99/month
• Yearly: $5.99/year

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.

Free Trial

New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription.

Maintenance and Support

The Developer is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the App. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App.

Warranty

The Developer is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App.

Product Claims

The Developer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Entering accurate medication information
• Setting appropriate reminder times
• Ensuring your device settings allow notifications (if using Premium)
• Maintaining device security to protect your health data

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pilla and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Missed medications or doses
• Health complications arising from missed medications
• Data loss
• Device malfunction affecting reminders

Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. All your medication data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal information on external servers. For more details, please read our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property

The Pilla app, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by Anders Rognlien and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, the Developer, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.

Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

Third-Party Terms

You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App, including your wireless data service agreement.

Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this EULA, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
